The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences (when you hear someone who has won an Oscar thank “the academy,” that’s them) is celebrating the 25th anniversary of one of the most iconic and revolutionary films of our lifetime: the live-action, animation hybrid, Who Framed Roger Rabbit? next month with a special screening of a new digital restoration of the film. This is certainly one of the better films from 25 years ago, but we think a few more from 1988 should also be honored.
