The media has been in a frenzy about Kristen Stewart’s infidelity to her long time boyfriend and Twilight hunk Rob Pattinson. Although he has not commented on the situation so far, those closest to Rob say he has been seeking medical help to ensure that this upsetting time does not cause his face to be stuck in a permanent scowl, but the moody actor isn’t taking to treatments. Twilight fans have been in an uproar about the news, shaming Kristen for her unspeakable acts towards their beloved Rob, the vampire stalker/dude in that one Harry Potter movie.
Surprisingly, there hasn’t been a lot of comment from the fans of Rupert Sanders, a married man with kids, but what Kristen did was clearly much worse. If two young 20-somethings who never went to college and met on the set of a teen vampire movie can’t make it, then I don’t know who can. It was clear these two were gonna go far, their combined acting talents comparable to a modern Laurence Olivier or Katharine Hepburn, or at least that’s what their fans would tell you, if they knew who those people were. But now it seems Robsten, Stewpatts, Krittenson—or whatever other combination of their names you can come up with—are no more. This testament to true love was a sham, Romeo and Juliet have died, and fans are devastated.
Of course there are those who see the silver lining in all of this; Robert Pattinson is finally available! Yes, this pasty, gaunt, greasy-looking hunk of man meat is finally single and ready to mingle. He’s already had to fight off the onslaught of teenage girls that have been relentlessly harassing their beloved.
Robert will probably not be single for long, surely another awkward young starlet will sweep him off his feet. But one young celebutant is definitely not ready to pounce on Robert Pattinson. Suri Cruise is not happy about the scandal. Not that her 6-year-old comprehension can understand exactly what ‘infidelity’ means, but between the K-Stew scandal and the upcoming Olympics coverage, Suri feels her struggle with her parent’s divorce is not getting the attention it deserves.
Suri is clearly suffering and if we do not get constant updates on what she is doing at gymnastics, martial arts, ballet lessons, the park, and what school she will be transferring to, who knows what downward spiral this child might endure. Being the child of two divorced A-list stars with piles of money is just as hard as being two young stars of one of the most popular movie franchises. Regardless of who has it worse at the moment, we can all agree, life is hard for the young, rich, and famous these days, and it’s up to us to give them all the support they need.
